How To Install ntfs2btrfs on Debian 12

This is a tool which does in-place conversion of Microsoft’s NTFS filesystem to the open-source filesystem Btrfs, much as btrfs-convert does for ext2. The original image is saved as a reflink copy at image/ntfs.img, and if you want to keep the conversion you can delete this to free up space.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall ntfs2btrfs on Debian 12
To uninstall only the ntfs2btrfs package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ntfs2btrfs
Uninstall ntfs2btrfs And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ntfs2btrfs and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ntfs2btrfs
