How To Install ntdb-tools on Ubuntu 18.04

What is ntdb-tools
ntdb-tools is:
This is a simple database API. It is modelled after the structure of GDBM. TDB features, unlike GDBM, multiple writers support with appropriate locking and transactions.
ntdb uses a file format that is incompatible with tdb, but the API is similar. It improves performance, adds support for databases larger than 4 Gb, and improves integration with talloc.
This package contains bundled test and utility binaries.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ntdb-tools using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ntdb-tools
How To Uninstall ntdb-tools on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ntdb-tools package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ntdb-tools
Uninstall ntdb-tools And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ntdb-tools and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ntdb-tools
Remove ntdb-tools Configurations and Data
To remove ntdb-tools configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ntdb-tools

We can use the following command to remove ntdb-tools configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
