How To Install nova-conductor on Debian 9

What is nova-conductor
nova-conductor is:
OpenStack is a reliable cloud infrastructure. Its mission is to produce the ubiquitous cloud computing platform that will meet the needs of public and private cloud providers regardless of size, by being simple to implement and massively scalable.
OpenStack Compute, codenamed Nova, is a cloud computing fabric controller designed to be modular and easy to extend and adapt. In addition to its “native” OpenStack API, it also supports the Amazon EC2 API, and it supports many different database backends (including SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL), hypervisors (KVM, Xen), and user directory systems (LDAP, SQL).
This is the Nova conductor service component.
There are three methods to install nova-conductor on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nova-conductor Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nova-conductor using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nova-conductor
Install nova-conductor Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install nova-conductor using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install nova-conductor
Install nova-conductor Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install nova-conductor using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nova-conductor
How To Uninstall nova-conductor on Debian 9
To uninstall only the nova-conductor package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove nova-conductor
Uninstall nova-conductor And Its Dependencies
To uninstall nova-conductor and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nova-conductor
Remove nova-conductor Configurations and Data
To remove nova-conductor configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nova-conductor
Remove nova-conductor configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nova-conductor configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nova-conductor
