How To Install nova-common on Debian 10

on Debian 10.
What is nova-common
nova-common is:
OpenStack is a reliable cloud infrastructure. Its mission is to produce the ubiquitous cloud computing platform that will meet the needs of public and private cloud providers regardless of size, by being simple to implement and massively scalable.
OpenStack Compute, codenamed Nova, is a cloud computing fabric controller designed to be modular and easy to extend and adapt. In addition to its “native” OpenStack API, it also supports the Amazon EC2 API, and it supports many different database backends (including SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL), hypervisors (KVM, Xen), and user directory systems (LDAP, SQL).
This package contains elements that are needed by all parts of Nova.
There are three methods to install nova-common
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install nova-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nova-common
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install nova-common

sudo apt -y install nova-common
Install nova-common Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install nova-common
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nova-common
How To Uninstall nova-common on Debian 10
To uninstall only the nova-common
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove nova-common
Uninstall nova-common And Its Dependencies
To uninstall nova-common
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nova-common
Remove nova-common Configurations and Data
To remove nova-common
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nova-common
Remove nova-common configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nova-common
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nova-common
