notify-sharp is a C# client implementation for Desktop Notifications, i.e. notification-daemon. It is inspired by the libnotify API. Desktop Notifications provide a standard way of doing passive pop-up notifications on the Linux desktop. Install notify-sharp3 on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install notify-sharp3 using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install notify-sharp3
Install notify-sharp3 on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install notify-sharp3 using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install notify-sharp3
How To Uninstall notify-sharp3 on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the notify-sharp3 package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove notify-sharp3
