How To Install notification-daemon on Kali Linux

What is notification-daemon
notification-daemon is:
notification-daemon displays passive pop-up notifications, as per the Desktop Notifications Specification.
The Desktop Notifications Specification provides a standard way of doing passive pop-up notifications on the Linux desktop. These are designed to notify the user of something without interrupting their work with a dialog box that they must close. Passive popups can automatically disappear after a short period of time.
There are three methods to install notification-daemon on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install notification-daemon Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install notification-daemon using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install notification-daemonInstall notification-daemon Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install notification-daemon using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
