What is nordugrid-arc-wn
NorduGrid is a collaboration aiming at development, maintenance and support of the middleware, known as the Advanced Resource Connector (ARC). This package contains the optional components that provide new job management features on the worker nodes (WN).
We can use yum or dnf to install nordugrid-arc-wn on Rocky Linux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nordugrid-arc-wn.
Install nordugrid-arc-wn on Rocky Linux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-wn using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nordugrid-arc-wn
Install nordugrid-arc-wn on Rocky Linux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-wn using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nordugrid-arc-wn
How To Uninstall nordugrid-arc-wn on Rocky Linux 8
To uninstall only the nordugrid-arc-wn package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nordugrid-arc-wn
