NorduGrid is a collaboration aiming at development, maintenance and support of the free Grid middleware, known as the Advanced Resource Connector (ARC). ARC plugins for GFAL2. This allows third-party transfer and adds support for several extra transfer protocols (rfio, dcap, gsidcap). Specific protocol support is provided by separate gfal2-plugin packages.

Install nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal
Install nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal
How To Uninstall nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nordugrid-arc-plugins-gfal
