What is nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys
NorduGrid is a collaboration aiming at development, maintenance and support of the free Grid middleware, known as the Advanced Resource Connector (ARC). This package contains the LDAP based information system for ARC. This package is not self-contained. it should be pulled in by either nordugrid-arc-arex to be a part of a local information system or by nordugrid-arc-egiis to be a part of a EGIIS service.
We can use yum or dnf to install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys.
Install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys
Install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys
How To Uninstall nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nordugrid-arc-ldap-infosys
