How To Install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils on CentOS 7

What is nordugrid-arc-ca-utils
NorduGrid is a collaboration aiming at development, maintenance and support of the free Grid middleware, known as the Advanced Resource Connector (ARC). The nordugrid-arc-ca-utils packages has been obsoleted. The functionality of the grid-update-crls tool is provided by the fetch-crl tool in the fetch-crl package.
We can use yum or dnf to install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils.
Install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils
Install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nordugrid-arc-ca-utils
How To Uninstall nordugrid-arc-ca-utils on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the nordugrid-arc-ca-utils package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nordugrid-arc-ca-utils
