How To Install nordugrid-arc on AlmaLinux 8

What is nordugrid-arc
NorduGrid is a collaboration aiming at development, maintenance and support of the middleware, known as the Advanced Resource Connector (ARC). ARC is used to create distributed infrastructures of various scope and complexity, from campus to national and global deployments.
We can use yum or dnf to install nordugrid-arc on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nordugrid-arc.
Install nordugrid-arc on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nordugrid-arc
Install nordugrid-arc on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nordugrid-arc using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nordugrid-arc
How To Uninstall nordugrid-arc on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the nordugrid-arc package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nordugrid-arc
