How To Install nodejs-formatio on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install nodejs-formatio on CentOS 7.
What is nodejs-formatio
Pretty formatting of arbitrary JavaScript values. Currently only supports ascii formatting, suitable for command-line utilities. Like JSON.stringify, it formats objects recursively, but unlike JSON.stringify, it can handle regular expressions, functions, circular objects and more. formatio is a general-purpose library. It works in browsers (including old and rowdy ones, like IE6) and Node. It will define itself as an AMD module if you want it to (i.e. if there’s a define function available).
We can use yum or dnf to install nodejs-formatio on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nodejs-formatio.
Install nodejs-formatio on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nodejs-formatio using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nodejs-formatio
Install nodejs-formatio on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nodejs-formatio using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nodejs-formatio
How To Uninstall nodejs-formatio on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the nodejs-formatio package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nodejs-formatio
