Node-CType is a way to read and write binary data in a structured and easy to use format. Its name comes from the C header file. There are two APIs that you can use, depending on what abstraction you’d like. The low level API lets you read and write individual integers and floats from buffers. The higher level API lets you read and write structures of these.

Install nodejs-ctype on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nodejs-ctype using yum by running the following command:

Install nodejs-ctype on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nodejs-ctype using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nodejs-ctype
How To Uninstall nodejs-ctype on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the nodejs-ctype package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nodejs-ctype
