What is nodejs-ain2
This module provides syslog logging for Node.js. Ain2 is written with full compatibility with the Node.js console module. It implements all console functions and formatting. Ain2 also supports UTF-8. Ain2 can send messages by UDP to 127.0.0.1 socket such as /dev/log.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install nodejs-ain2
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nodejs-ain2.
Install nodejs-ain2 on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nodejs-ain2
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nodejs-ain2
Install nodejs-ain2 on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install nodejs-ain2
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nodejs-ain2
How To Uninstall nodejs-ain2 on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the nodejs-ain2
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nodejs-ain2
