How To Install node-vue on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install node-vue on Kali Linux.

What is node-vue

node-vue is:

Vue is a flexible, non-opinionated, non-monolithic, incrementally adoptable JavaScript framework for building user interfaces with JavaScript or TypeScript.

It provides data-reactive components with a simple and flexible API.

The core library focuses on declarative rendering and component composition.

Vue core when used in combination with its supporting libraries and modern tooling is also perfectly capable of powering sophisticated Single-Page Applications.

Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.

There are three methods to install node-vue on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install node-vue Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install node-vue using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install node-vue

Install node-vue Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install node-vue using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install node-vue

Install node-vue Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install node-vue using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install node-vue

How To Uninstall node-vue on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the node-vue package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove node-vue

Uninstall node-vue And Its Dependencies

To uninstall node-vue and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-vue

Remove node-vue Configurations and Data

To remove node-vue configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge node-vue

Remove node-vue configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove node-vue configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
