How To Install node-tapable on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-tapable on Kali Linux.
What is node-tapable
node-tapable is:
Tapable is a class for plugin binding and applying.
This library is a dependency for webpack. Webpack takes code targeted at node.js and makes it run in the browser. Node.js comes with API of its own that is not available in the browsers. Webpack exposes this code to programs that are unaware they are running in a browser.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-tapable on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-tapable Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-tapable using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-tapableInstall node-tapable Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-tapable using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-tapableInstall node-tapable Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-tapable using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-tapableHow To Uninstall node-tapable on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-tapable package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-tapableUninstall node-tapable And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-tapable and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-tapableRemove node-tapable Configurations and Data
To remove node-tapable configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-tapableRemove node-tapable configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-tapable configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-tapableDependencies
