node-source-map is:

Mozilla implementation of source map generator and consumer, for source maps written in the Asynchronous Module Definition format.

Source maps provide a language-agnostic way to compile back production code to the original source code.

Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.

There are three methods to install node-source-map on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install node-source-map Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install node-source-map using apt-get by running the following command:
