How To Install node-promzard on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-promzard
on Kali Linux.
What is node-promzard
node-promzard is:
A prompting wizard for building files from specialized PromZard modules. Used by npm init.
A reimplementation of SubStack’s prompter, which does not use AST traversal.
From another point of view, it’s a reimplementation of Marak’s wizard which doesn’t use schemas.
The goal is a nice drop-in enhancement for npm init.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-promzard
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-promzard Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-promzard
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-promzard

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-promzard
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-promzard
Install node-promzard Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-promzard
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-promzard
How To Uninstall node-promzard on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-promzard
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-promzard
Uninstall node-promzard And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-promzard
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-promzard
Remove node-promzard Configurations and Data
To remove node-promzard
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-promzard
Remove node-promzard configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-promzard
