How To Install node-pify on Ubuntu 22.04

node-pify is:
pify permits ont to transform a callback-style function into a promise-style function. In comparison with builtin function
util.promisify
, pify is faster, supports wrapping a whole module/object, has useful options and does have a magic behavior for certain Node.js methods.
There are three methods to install node-pify
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-pify Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-pify
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-pify

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-pify
using apt

Install node-pify Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-pify

configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-pify
