How To Install node-nomnom on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-nomnom on Kali Linux.
What is node-nomnom
node-nomnom is:
nomnom is an option parser for Node.js. It noms your args and gives them back to you in a hash.
Nomnom supports args like -d, –debug, –no-debug, –file=test.txt, –file test.txt, -f test.txt, -xvf, and positionals. Positionals are arguments that don’t fit the -a or –atomic format and aren’t attached to an option.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-nomnom on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-nomnom Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-nomnom using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-nomnomInstall node-nomnom Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-nomnom using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-nomnomInstall node-nomnom Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-nomnom using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-nomnomHow To Uninstall node-nomnom on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-nomnom package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-nomnomUninstall node-nomnom And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-nomnom and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-nomnomRemove node-nomnom Configurations and Data
To remove node-nomnom configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-nomnomRemove node-nomnom configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-nomnom configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
