How To Install node-matcher on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-matcher on Kali Linux.
What is node-matcher
node-matcher is:
Useful when you want to accept loose string input and regexes/globs are too convoluted.
This module can be used in different ways. It can accept an array of input’s and pattern’s and returns an array of inputs filtered based on the patterns. Or it returns a boolean of whether if the input matches the pattern.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-matcher on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-matcher Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-matcher using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-matcherInstall node-matcher Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-matcher using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-matcher using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the node-matcher package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-matcherUninstall node-matcher And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-matcher and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-matcherRemove node-matcher Configurations and Data
To remove node-matcher configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-matcherRemove node-matcher configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-matcher configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
