How To Install node-lynx on Debian 12

What is node-lynx
node-lynx is:
Lynx is a minimalistic node.js client for the statsd server.
Features:
- Minimalistic ?? there is only a minimum of abstraction between you and statsd
- Streams ?? You can stream in and out of a lynx connection
- Re-usable UDP Connections ?? Keeps UDP connections open for a certain time
- Errors ?? Pluggable error handling, by default errors are ignored

There are three methods to install node-lynx
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-lynx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-lynx
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-lynx

After updating apt database, We can install node-lynx

sudo aptitude -y install node-lynx
How To Uninstall node-lynx on Debian 12
To uninstall only the node-lynx
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-lynx
Uninstall node-lynx And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-lynx
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-lynx
Remove node-lynx Configurations and Data

configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-lynx
