How To Install node-knockout on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install node-knockout on Kali Linux.
What is node-knockout

Knockout is a JavaScript MVVM (a modern variant of MVC) library that makes it easier to create rich, desktop-like user interfaces with JavaScript and HTML. It uses observers to make your UI automatically stay in sync with an underlying data model, along with a powerful and extensible set of declarative bindings to enable productive development.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-knockout on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-knockout Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-knockout using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-knockoutInstall node-knockout Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-knockout using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-knockoutInstall node-knockout Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-knockout using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-knockoutHow To Uninstall node-knockout on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-knockout package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-knockoutUninstall node-knockout And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-knockout and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-knockoutRemove node-knockout Configurations and Data
To remove node-knockout configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-knockoutRemove node-knockout configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-knockout configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-knockoutDependencies
