How To Install node-json-schema on Ubuntu 22.04

What is node-json-schema
node-json-schema is:
This is a “finished” JavaScript implementation of JSON Schema - a simple, efficient, lightweight implementation of the original core elements of JSON Schema. It does not house the latest specifications nor does it implement the latest versions of JSON Schema, but seeks to maintain the stability (in behavior and size) of this original implementation for the sake of the numerous packages that rely on it.

There are three methods to install node-json-schema
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-json-schema Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-json-schema
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-json-schema
Install node-json-schema Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-json-schema
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-json-schema
Install node-json-schema Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-json-schema
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-json-schema
How To Uninstall node-json-schema on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the node-json-schema
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-json-schema
Uninstall node-json-schema And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-json-schema
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-json-schema
Remove node-json-schema Configurations and Data
To remove node-json-schema
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-json-schema
Remove node-json-schema configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-json-schema
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-json-schema
