How To Install node-isstream on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-isstream on Kali Linux.
What is node-isstream
node-isstream is:
The missing Stream.isStream(obj): determine if an object is standard Node.js Stream. Works for Node-core Stream objects (for 0.8, 0.10, 0.11, and in theory, older and newer versions) and all versions of readable-stream.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-isstream on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-isstream Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-isstream using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-isstreamInstall node-isstream Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-isstream using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-isstream using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the node-isstream package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-isstreamUninstall node-isstream And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-isstream and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-isstreamRemove node-isstream Configurations and Data
To remove node-isstream configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-isstreamRemove node-isstream configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
