How To Install node-immediate on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-immediate on Kali Linux.
What is node-immediate
node-immediate is:
immediate is a microtask library decended from NobleJS’s setImmediate package and includes ideas from Cujo’s When and RSVP package.
immediate takes tricks from setImmedate and RSVP and combines them with the schedualer inspired by whens.
tricks are tasks mentioned from setImmediate package which are run as necessary.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-immediate on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-immediate Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-immediate using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-immediateInstall node-immediate Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-immediate using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-immediateInstall node-immediate Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-immediate using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-immediateHow To Uninstall node-immediate on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-immediate package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-immediateUninstall node-immediate And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-immediate and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-immediateRemove node-immediate Configurations and Data
To remove node-immediate configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-immediateRemove node-immediate configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-immediate configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-immediateDependencies
