How To Install node-immediate on Debian 12
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-immediate
on Debian 12.
What is node-immediate
node-immediate is:
immediate is a microtask library decended from NobleJS’s setImmediate package and includes ideas from Cujo’s When and RSVP package.
immediate takes tricks from setImmedate and RSVP and combines them with the schedualer inspired by whens.
tricks are tasks mentioned from setImmediate package which are run as necessary.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-immediate
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-immediate Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-immediate
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-immediate

After updating apt database, We can install node-immediate

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install node-immediate
using aptitude

How To Uninstall node-immediate on Debian 12
To uninstall only the node-immediate
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-immediate
Uninstall node-immediate And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-immediate
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-immediate
Remove node-immediate Configurations and Data
To remove node-immediate
configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-immediate
