How To Install node-fs-extra on Kali Linux

What is node-fs-extra
node-fs-extra is:
The fs-extra Node.js module adds a few extra file system methods that aren’t included in the native fs module. It is a drop in replacement for fs.
The module implements common filesystem operations such as copy(), move(), mkdirs(), remove(), and specific read/write operations like readFile() & outputFile() and readJson() & outputJson().
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-fs-extra on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-fs-extra Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-fs-extra using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-fs-extraInstall node-fs-extra Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-fs-extra using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-fs-extraInstall node-fs-extra Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-fs-extra using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-fs-extraHow To Uninstall node-fs-extra on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-fs-extra package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-fs-extraUninstall node-fs-extra And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-fs-extra and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-fs-extraRemove node-fs-extra Configurations and Data
To remove node-fs-extra configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-fs-extraRemove node-fs-extra configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-fs-extra configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-fs-extraDependencies
