How To Install node-domino on Kali Linux

What is node-domino

node-domino is:

Domino provides a fast but insecure DOM in Node.js.

The Document Object Model (DOM) is a cross-platform and language-independent application programming interface that treats an HTML, XHTML, or XML document as a tree structure wherein each node is an object representing a part of the document.

Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.

There are three methods to install node-domino on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install node-domino Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install node-domino using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install node-domino

Install node-domino Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install node-domino using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install node-domino

Install node-domino Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install node-domino using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install node-domino

How To Uninstall node-domino on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the node-domino package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove node-domino

Uninstall node-domino And Its Dependencies

To uninstall node-domino and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-domino

Remove node-domino Configurations and Data

To remove node-domino configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge node-domino

Remove node-domino configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove node-domino configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-domino
