What is node-cacache
node-cacache is:
This module is a Node.js library for managing local key and content address caches. It’s really fast, really good at concurrency, and it will never give you corrupted data, even if cache files get corrupted or manipulated.
It was originally written to be used as npm’s local cache, but can just as easily be used on its own.

There are three methods to install node-cacache
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-cacache
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-cacache

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-cacache
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-cacache
Install node-cacache Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-cacache
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-cacache
How To Uninstall node-cacache on Debian 10
To uninstall only the node-cacache
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-cacache
Uninstall node-cacache And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-cacache
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-cacache
Remove node-cacache Configurations and Data
To remove node-cacache
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-cacache
