How To Install node-buffers on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-buffers
on Kali Linux.
What is node-buffers
node-buffers is:
The buffers module allows you to treat a collection of Buffers as a single contiguous partially mutable Buffer.
Where possible, operations execute without creating a new Buffer and copying everything over.
buffers is a cleaner more Buffery rehash of bufferlist.
This package contains the buffers module for Node.js
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-buffers
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-buffers Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-buffers
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-buffers

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-buffers
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-buffers
Install node-buffers Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-buffers
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-buffers
How To Uninstall node-buffers on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-buffers
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-buffers
Uninstall node-buffers And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-buffers
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-buffers
Remove node-buffers Configurations and Data
To remove node-buffers
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-buffers
Remove node-buffers configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
