How To Install node-buffer on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install node-buffer
on Kali Linux.
What is node-buffer
node-buffer is:
node-buffer is a port of well known buffer API of nodejs to browser context.
Using require(‘buffer’)or the
Buffer` global variable will allow
browserify program to include automatically this module on your code.
Thus any npm module using buffer features will work in the browser.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-buffer
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-buffer Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-buffer
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-buffer

After updating apt database, We can install node-buffer

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-buffer
Install node-buffer Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-buffer
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-buffer
How To Uninstall node-buffer on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-buffer
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-buffer
Uninstall node-buffer And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-buffer
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-buffer
Remove node-buffer Configurations and Data
To remove node-buffer
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-buffer
Remove node-buffer configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-buffer
