How To Install node-argv on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install node-argv on Kali Linux.
What is node-argv
node-argv is:
node-argv is a nodejs module that does command line argument parsing. node-argv implement a strict argument parser, which means all options must be defined before parsing starts. This argument parser allow one to use a modular structure for options parsing.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-argv on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-argv Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-argv using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-argvInstall node-argv Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-argv using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-argvInstall node-argv Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install node-argv using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-argvHow To Uninstall node-argv on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the node-argv package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-argvUninstall node-argv And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-argv and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-argvRemove node-argv Configurations and Data
To remove node-argv configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-argvRemove node-argv configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-argv configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-argvDependencies
