How To Install node-ansi on Debian 9

What is node-ansi
node-ansi is:
node-ansi is a module for Node.js that provides an easy-to-use API for writing ANSI escape codes to Stream instances. ANSI escape codes are used to do fancy things in a terminal window, like render text in colors, delete characters, lines, the entire window, or hide and show the cursor, and lots more.
Node.js is an event-based server-side javascript engine.
There are three methods to install node-ansi on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-ansi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-ansi using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-ansi
Install node-ansi Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-ansi using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-ansi
Install node-ansi Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-ansi using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-ansi
How To Uninstall node-ansi on Debian 9
To uninstall only the node-ansi package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-ansi
Uninstall node-ansi And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-ansi and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-ansi
Remove node-ansi Configurations and Data
To remove node-ansi configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-ansi
Remove node-ansi configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-ansi configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-ansi
