How To Install node-active-x-obfuscator on Ubuntu 18.04

This Node.js module (safely) obfuscates all occurrences of the string ‘ActiveX’ inside any JavaScript code.
Some corporate firewalls/proxies such as Blue Coat block JavaScript files to be downloaded if they contain the word ‘ActiveX’. That of course is very annoying for libraries such as socket.io that need to use ActiveXObject for supporting IE8 and older.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

We can use the following command to remove node-active-x-obfuscator configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
