How To Install nifti-bin on Ubuntu 18.04

nifti-bin is:
Niftilib is a set of i/o libraries for reading and writing files in the NIfTI-1 data format. NIfTI-1 is a binary file format for storing medical image data, e.g. magnetic resonance image (MRI) and functional MRI (fMRI) brain images.
This package provides the tools that are shipped with the library (nifti_tool, nifti_stats and nifti1_test).
There are three methods to install nifti-bin on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nifti-bin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nifti-bin using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nifti-bin

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install nifti-bin using apt by running the following command:

Install nifti-bin Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install nifti-bin using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nifti-bin
How To Uninstall nifti-bin on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the nifti-bin package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove nifti-bin
Uninstall nifti-bin And Its Dependencies
To uninstall nifti-bin and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nifti-bin
Remove nifti-bin Configurations and Data
To remove nifti-bin configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nifti-bin

We can use the following command to remove nifti-bin configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nifti-bin
