How To Install ngspice-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is ngspice-doc
ngspice-doc is:
NGspice is a mixed-level/mixed-signal circuit simulator. Its code is based on three open source software packages: Spice3f5, Cider1b1 and Xspice.
NGspice is part of gEDA project, a full GPL’d suite of Electronic Design Automation tools.
This package contains the html, postscript and pdf documentation.
There are three methods to install ngspice-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ngspice-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ngspice-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ngspice-doc
Install ngspice-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ngspice-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ngspice-doc
Install ngspice-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ngspice-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ngspice-doc
How To Uninstall ngspice-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ngspice-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ngspice-doc
Uninstall ngspice-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ngspice-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ngspice-doc
Remove ngspice-doc Configurations and Data
To remove ngspice-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ngspice-doc
Remove ngspice-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ngspice-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ngspice-doc
