How To Install nfs-ganesha-gpfs on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install nfs-ganesha-gpfs on Kali Linux.
What is nfs-ganesha-gpfs
nfs-ganesha-gpfs is:
NFS-GANESHA is a NFS Server running in user space with a large cache. It comes with various backend modules to support different file systems and namespaces. Supported name spaces are POSIX, PROXY, SNMP, FUSE-like, HPSS, LUSTRE, XFS and ZFS. This package contains a library for a FSAL_GPFS and conf files.
There are three methods to install nfs-ganesha-gpfs on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nfs-ganesha-gpfs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nfs-ganesha-gpfs using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nfs-ganesha-gpfsInstall nfs-ganesha-gpfs Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nfs-ganesha-gpfs using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove nfs-ganesha-gpfs configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nfs-ganesha-gpfsRemove nfs-ganesha-gpfs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nfs-ganesha-gpfs configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
