How To Install neutron-openvswitch-agent on Debian 12

What is neutron-openvswitch-agent
neutron-openvswitch-agent is:
Neutron provides an API to dynamically request and configure virtual networks. These networks connect “interfaces” from other OpenStack services (such as vNICs from Nova VMs). The Neutron API supports extensions to provide advanced network capabilities, including QoS, ACLs, and network monitoring.
This package provides the Open vSwitch agent. If you choose to use the Open vSwitch plugin on neutron-server, this agent should run on each compute node.
There are three methods to install neutron-openvswitch-agent on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install neutron-openvswitch-agent Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install neutron-openvswitch-agent using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install neutron-openvswitch-agent using apt by running the following command:

Install neutron-openvswitch-agent Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install neutron-openvswitch-agent using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install neutron-openvswitch-agent
