How To Install neutron-lbaas-common on Ubuntu 18.04

What is neutron-lbaas-common
neutron-lbaas-common is:
Neutron is a virtual network service for Openstack, and a part of Netstack. Just like OpenStack Nova provides an API to dynamically request and configure virtual servers, Neutron provides an API to dynamically request and configure virtual networks. These networks connect “interfaces” from other OpenStack services (e.g., virtual NICs from Nova VMs). The Neutron API supports extensions to provide advanced network capabilities (e.g., QoS, ACLs, network monitoring, etc.)
This package provides the Load Balancing as-a Service common files.
There are three methods to install neutron-lbaas-common on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install neutron-lbaas-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install neutron-lbaas-common using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install neutron-lbaas-common
Install neutron-lbaas-common Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install neutron-lbaas-common using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install neutron-lbaas-common
Install neutron-lbaas-common Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install neutron-lbaas-common using aptitude by running the following command:

We can use the following command to remove neutron-lbaas-common configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge neutron-lbaas-common
