How To Install netcdf-bin on Kali Linux

What is netcdf-bin
netcdf-bin is:
Contains the programs ncdump and ncgen which convert NetCDF files to ASCII and back, respectively. NetCDF (network Common Data Form) is an interface for scientific data access and a freely-distributed software library that provides an implementation of the interface. The netCDF library also defines a machine-independent format for representing scientific data. Together, the interface, library, and format support the creation, access, and sharing of scientific data.
There are three methods to install netcdf-bin on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install netcdf-bin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install netcdf-bin using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install netcdf-binInstall netcdf-bin Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install netcdf-bin using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install netcdf-bin using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the netcdf-bin package we can use the following command:

To uninstall netcdf-bin and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove netcdf-binRemove netcdf-bin Configurations and Data
To remove netcdf-bin configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge netcdf-binRemove netcdf-bin configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
