How To Install neko-dev on Debian 9

neko-dev is:
Neko provides a common runtime for several different languages, including JavaScript and haXe.
The virtual machine is both very lightweight and well optimized. It can be easily embedded into other applications, and libraries are directly accessible using the C foreign function interface.
This package includes the header files for development using the Neko virtual machine.

There are three methods to install neko-dev
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install neko-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install neko-dev
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install neko-dev

After updating apt database, We can install neko-dev

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install neko-dev
using aptitude

How To Uninstall neko-dev on Debian 9

configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
