How To Install ndiff on Kali Linux

What is ndiff
ndiff is:
Ndiff is a tool to aid in the comparison of Nmap scans. It takes two Nmap XML output files and prints the differences between them them: hosts coming up and down, ports becoming open or closed, and things like that. It can produce output in human-readable text or machine-readable XML formats.
There are three methods to install ndiff
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ndiff Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ndiff
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ndiff

After updating apt database, We can install ndiff

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ndiff
Install ndiff Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
