on CentOS 7.
What is ncrack
Ncrack is a high-speed network authentication cracking tool. It was built to help companies secure their networks by proactively testing all their hosts and networking devices for poor passwords. Security professionals also rely on Ncrack when auditing their clients. Ncrack was designed using a modular approach, a command-line syntax similar to Nmap and a dynamic engine that can adapt its behaviour based on network feedback. We can use yum
or dnf
to install ncrack
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install ncrack.
Install ncrack on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum

After updating yum database, We can install ncrack
using yum

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
