How To Install nco on Ubuntu 20.04

What is nco
nco is:
NCO is a suite of programs known as operators. The operators are stand-alone, command-line programs executable in a POSIX shell. Operators take one or more netCDF files as input, perform operations (e.g., averaging, hyperslabbing), and produce a netCDF output file. NCO was originally designed to manipulate and analyze climate data, though it works on any netCDF format datasets.

How To Uninstall nco on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the nco
package we can use the following command:

To uninstall nco
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nco
Remove nco Configurations and Data
To remove nco
configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nco
