How To Install nas-doc on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install nas-doc on Kali Linux.
What is nas-doc
nas-doc is:
The Network Audio System (NAS) was developed by NCD for playing, recording, and manipulating audio data over a network. Like the X Window System, it uses the client/server model to separate applications from the specific drivers that control audio input and output devices.
This package contains the extra documentation provided with the NAS source, including PostScript copies of papers describing its design.
There are three methods to install nas-doc on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nas-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nas-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nas-docInstall nas-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nas-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install nas-docInstall nas-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nas-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nas-docHow To Uninstall nas-doc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the nas-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove nas-docUninstall nas-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall nas-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nas-docRemove nas-doc Configurations and Data
To remove nas-doc configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nas-docRemove nas-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nas-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nas-docDependencies
