What is nacl
NaCl (pronounced “salt”) is a new easy-to-use high-speed software library for network communication, encryption, decryption, signatures, etc. NaCl’s goal is to provide all of the core operations needed to build higher-level cryptographic tools.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install nacl
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nacl.

Update yum database with yum

After updating yum database, We can install nacl
using yum
