How To Install myproxy on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install myproxy
on CentOS 7.
What is myproxy
MyProxy is open source software for managing X.509 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security credentials (certificates and private keys). MyProxy combines an online credential repository with an online certificate authority to allow users to securely obtain credentials when and where needed. Users run myproxy-logon to authenticate and obtain credentials, including trusted CA certificates and Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install myproxy
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install myproxy.
Install myproxy on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install myproxy
using yum
by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
