How To Install muttprofile on Ubuntu 18.04

What is muttprofile
muttprofile is:
A profile in Mutt is simply a specific subset of the configuration. You may have a personal and a work profile, each of which uses the same base configuration and then overrides specific configuration items like the email address.
muttprofile gives an easy way to switch between such profiles from within a running instance of Mutt. Quite simple and quite beautiful, and implemented in perl.
There are three methods to install muttprofile
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install muttprofile Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install muttprofile
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install muttprofile

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install muttprofile
using apt
by running the following command:

Install muttprofile Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
