How To Install murano-api on Ubuntu 22.04

In this tutorial we learn how to install murano-api on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is murano-api
murano-api is:
Murano Project introduces an application catalog, which allows application developers and cloud administrators to publish various cloud-ready applications in a browsable categorised catalog, which may be used by the cloud users (including the inexperienced ones) to pick-up the needed applications and services and composes the reliable environments out of them in a “push-the-button” manner.
This package contains the API server.
There are three methods to install murano-api on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install murano-api Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install murano-api using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install murano-api
Install murano-api Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install murano-api using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install murano-api
Install murano-api Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install murano-api using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install murano-api
How To Uninstall murano-api on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the murano-api package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove murano-api
Uninstall murano-api And Its Dependencies
To uninstall murano-api and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove murano-api
Remove murano-api Configurations and Data
To remove murano-api configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge murano-api
Remove murano-api configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove murano-api configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge murano-api
